Guest House accommodation in Newquay with uninterrupted views out towards Fistral Beach.
We are so lucky to be based in the lovely county of Cornwall with its wild moorland and hundreds of sandy beaches. The south coast, dubbed the Cornish Riviera, is home to picturesque harbours and perfect calm waters for sailing. The rugged north coast is lined with towering cliffs and has great surfing waves.
Our Newquay accommodation is nestled close to Fistral Beach, boasting stunning views across the golf course and out towards the awe-inspiring Atlantic Ocean. This idyllic location is within a short stroll from all the superb beaches, shops, bars and restaurants.
Newquay was originally the fishing port of Towan Blistra before the new quay was built in the fifteenth century. For many years, the main industry was pilchard fishing and salting. Even before this, it was the site of an Iron Age fort. Although the pilchards disappeared long ago, there are still a few boats fishing from Newquay and there are plenty of pleasure craft here as well. Another interesting throwback to the days when pilchard fishing was the towns lifeblood is the Huer’s Hut located high above the headland. It’s a perculiar little round white hut with steps leading up to the roof where the huer would stand and cry, ‘Hevva, Hevva!‘, when pilchards were sighted.
Newquay is famous for the Boardmasters surfing championships, held at Fistral Beach, which attract competitors from all over the world. The main town beaches are Towan, Great Western, Lusty Glaze and Tolcarne, all of which are reasonably sheltered and safe for swimming and sun-worshipping.
The Guest House accommodation is pet friendly and has 7 rooms (with a total occupancy of 20).
Disabled access is restricted as the property itself, and all of the rooms, are accessed by stairs.
There is a lovely communal area with a fully licensed bar and a patio area out front. Opposite there is a children’s playground and a large grass area to exercise your dog.
For drivers to the Guest House there is free on-street parking (if spaces are available). There is a height restricted grass car park opposite which is free after 4pm until 9am throughout the season and has a £1 daily charge between November and April.
The bus and train station are within walking distance of the property.

We have also worked within the hospitality industry for quite some time so we hope, that if you do choose to stay with us, you will not only have an enjoyable time but also a memorable one, come rain or shine.
